Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior sound engineers in all stages of audio post-production, including editing, mixing, and mastering.
- Support the setup and breakdown of audio equipment for recording sessions and live events.
- Organize and maintain audio libraries, sound effects, and music assets for various projects.
- Learn and operate digital audio workstations (DAWs) such as Pro Tools, Logic Pro, or Adobe Audition under supervision.
- Perform basic audio cleanup tasks, such as noise reduction, equalization, and minor audio repair.
- Shadow engineers during client sessions to understand professional workflow, communication, and client management.
- Contribute creative input to sound design elements and musical scores as appropriate and under supervision.
- Ensure all project files are properly archived, backed up, and maintained according to company standards.
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of audio principles and acoustics.
- Familiarity with at least one Digital Audio Workstation (DAW), even entry-level (e.g., GarageBand, Audacity, Reaper).
