Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Executive Chef and other senior culinary staff in daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating.
- Learn and execute various cooking methods and techniques consistently to maintain high standards of quality and presentation.
- Manage assigned station duties, ensuring cleanliness, organization, and adherence to all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Participate in inventory management, including receiving, storing, and rotating food supplies to minimize waste.
- Support the training and supervision of junior kitchen staff or new hires as experience grows.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to develop and test new menu items and specials.
- Monitor food production to ensure timely delivery of high-quality dishes during service.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
