Key Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of massage treatments including Swedish, deep tissue, hot stone, aromatherapy, and other specialized techniques as per guest request and spa menu.
- Conduct thorough consultations with guests to assess their needs, health conditions, and preferences, tailoring treatments accordingly.
- Ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation in treatment rooms and all spa areas.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all spa services, products, and promotions to effectively advise and upsell to guests.
- Provide professional and courteous service, ensuring a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere for all guests.
- Educate guests on the benefits of treatments and recommend suitable homecare products for continued wellness.
- Manage appointment schedules efficiently and accurately, ensuring timely commencement and completion of treatments.
- Handle guest inquiries and feedback professionally, striving to resolve any concerns to their satisfaction.
- Adhere to all hotel and spa policies, procedures, and brand standards.
- Collaborate with the spa team to ensure a seamless and exceptional guest journey from arrival to departure.
- Actively participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Required Skills
- Diploma or certification in Massage Therapy from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of 1 year of professional experience as a Spa Massage Therapist, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort setting.
- Proficiency in various massage techniques (e.g., Swedish, Deep Tissue, Aromatherapy).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong command of English.
- A genuine passion for wellness and guest satisfaction.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
- Strong understanding of anatomy and physiology.
