Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet and welcome all guests to the spa, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Efficiently manage the spa's appointment schedule, including bookings, cancellations, and modifications.
- Handle all incoming calls, emails, and walk-in inquiries with professionalism and courtesy.
- Process client payments accurately and manage cash register operations.
- Provide detailed information about spa services, treatments, and retail products to guests.
- Assist guests with check-in and check-out procedures, ensuring a smooth transition.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the reception area and common spa spaces.
- Upsell and cross-sell spa services and retail products where appropriate.
- Address guest concerns and complaints promptly and professionally, escalating when necessary.
- Collaborate with spa therapists and other staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Manage inventory of retail products and office supplies for the reception area.
- Educate guests on spa etiquette and policies.
- Prepare daily reports on bookings, sales, and client feedback.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in a customer service or reception role, preferably within a hospitality or wellness setting.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using booking software and POS systems.
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
- A professional and polished appearance.
- Fluency in English and Swahili.
- Basic computer literacy (Microsoft Office Suite).
