Job Description
Career.zycto is seeking an exceptional and visionary Space Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team in San Antonio, Texas. This is a full-time opportunity for a highly motivated individual passionate about pushing the boundaries of space technology and contributing to missions that shape the future. As a Space Systems Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the end-to-end lifecycle of complex space systems, from initial concept development and architectural design to integration, testing, and operations.
In this critical position, you will be instrumental in translating ambitious mission objectives into tangible, robust, and reliable space solutions. You will be responsible for conducting rigorous system analysis, performing detailed trade studies, and making data-driven decisions that optimize system performance, cost-effectiveness, and schedule adherence. This involves deep dives into spacecraft subsystems, propulsion, power, attitude control, thermal management, communication systems, and payload interfaces. Your expertise in orbital mechanics will be vital for mission analysis, trajectory planning, and understanding the complex dynamics of objects in space.
You will be expected to develop and manage comprehensive system requirements, ensuring precise traceability and compliance throughout the entire program lifecycle. Collaboration is key; you will work closely with multi-disciplinary teams of mechanical, electrical, software, and test engineers, fostering an environment of innovation and shared success. This role demands a keen eye for detail during the integration and testing phases, where you will identify, diagnose, and resolve technical issues to ensure flawless system performance prior to launch.
Beyond technical acumen, this role requires strong communication skills. You will articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, prepare compelling technical documentation, and deliver impactful presentations. Your contributions will directly influence strategic decisions and contribute to the successful execution of high-profile space initiatives. If you are a problem-solver who thrives in a challenging, fast-paced environment and possesses a profound commitment to quality and mission success, Career.zycto offers an unparalleled opportunity to advance your career and contribute to truly transformative projects in the aerospace domain.
