As an SLPA with Career.zycto, you will be integral to implementing individualized treatment plans designed by our SLPs. Key Responsibilities
- Implement individualized treatment plans developed by a supervising Speech Language Pathologist (SLP).
- Provide direct therapy services to clients, individually or in groups, under the supervision of an SLP.
- Prepare and organize therapy materials, visual aids, and equipment for treatment sessions.
- Document client progress accurately and maintain detailed records of therapy sessions.
- Assist the supervising SLP with screenings, assessments, and data collection.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and caregivers regarding therapy activities and progress, under SLP guidance.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe therapy environment.
- Participate in team meetings, professional development, and training sessions as required.
- Adhere to all ethical standards, privacy regulations (HIPAA), and company policies.
- Collaborate with other professionals to ensure holistic client care.
Required Skills
- Associate's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program or Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders.
- Valid Colorado SLPA license or eligibility for licensure.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational abilities.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help individuals with communication disorders.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
