As a Full-Time Speech Pathologist at Career.zycto, you will play a pivotal role in assessing, diagnosing, and treating a diverse range of communication and swallowing disorders across various age groups. Your daily responsibilities will involve developing and implementing individualized treatment plans tailored to meet each patient’s unique needs, utilizing evidence-based practices and innovative therapeutic techniques. You will work closely with patients suffering from conditions such as dysphagia, aphasia, articulation disorders, fluency disorders, and voice disorders, helping them regain functional communication and improve their quality of life.

You will collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals, including occupational therapists, physical therapists, and physicians, to ensure a holistic approach to patient rehabilitation. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, voice, and swallowing assessments.
  • Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans for diverse patient populations.
  • Provide direct therapy services for articulation, phonological, fluency, voice, resonance, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders.
  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers on communication strategies, exercises, and compensatory techniques.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation of patient progress and treatment plans.
  • Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team including physicians, occupational therapists, and physical therapists.
  • Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and contribute to patient care planning.
  • Stay updated on the latest research and advancements in speech-language pathology.

Required Skills

  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent.
  • State licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech Pathologist in Germany (e.g., "Logopäde" or recognized equivalent).
  • Proficiency in German, both spoken and written (C1 level minimum).
  • Strong diagnostic and therapeutic skills across a range of communication and swallowing disorders.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with patients, families, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Demonstrated empathy, patience, and cultural sensitivity.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for documentation.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience working with specific populations (e.g., pediatric, geriatric, neurological conditions).
  • Additional language proficiency (e.g., English, Turkish).
  • Experience with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices.
  • Participation in relevant professional development courses or certifications.
  • Knowledge of German healthcare system regulations and billing.
