Career.zycto is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Therapist specializing in Language Support to join a leading educational and therapeutic center located in the vibrant Nad Al Sheba 2 community of Dubai. As a Speech Therapist focusing on language support, you will be instrumental in conducting comprehensive assessments, developing individualized therapy plans, and delivering evidence-based interventions tailored to each client’s unique needs. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough diagnostic evaluations and assessments to identify speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans (ITPs) based on assessment results and client-specific goals.
- Provide evidence-based speech and language therapy interventions for expressive and receptive language delays, articulation, phonological disorders, fluency, voice, and pragmatic language.
- Monitor client progress, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and maintain accurate and timely documentation of sessions and outcomes.
- Collaborate effectively with parents, caregivers, educators, and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated and holistic client support.
- Educate families and caregivers on communication strategies and home-based activities to facilitate continued progress outside of therapy sessions.
- Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and professional development activities to enhance clinical skills and contribute to program development.
Required Skills
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent.
- Valid professional license/registration to practice as a Speech Therapist in Dubai (e.g., DHA license or eligibility).
- Minimum 3 years of clinical experience post-licensure, with a strong focus on language support.
- Proficiency in conducting comprehensive assessments and developing individualized therapy programs.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with diverse age groups and cultural backgrounds.
- Proficiency in Arabic is a significant advantage.
- Specialized training or certification in specific therapy techniques (e.g., PECS, Hanen, PROMPT).
