Job Description
We are seeking a highly analytical and experienced Statistician with a strong focus on data interpretation to join our dynamic team at Ol Kalou Dairy. Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement data collection methodologies and systems to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Conduct advanced statistical analyses, including hypothesis testing, regression analysis, time-series forecasting, and multivariate analysis.
- Develop and validate statistical models to predict trends in milk production, market demand, and quality metrics.
- Interpret complex data sets and translate findings into clear, concise, and actionable recommendations for management.
- Prepare detailed statistical reports, presentations, and dashboards for various internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data-driven opportunities for process improvement and strategic growth.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented strategies and initiatives using statistical methods.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy and security regulations.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of data analysis techniques and tools within the organization.
Required Skills
- Proven expertise in statistical analysis, experimental design, and data modeling.
- Proficiency in statistical software packages such as R, Python (with libraries like Pandas, NumPy, SciPy, Scikit-learn), SAS, or SPSS.
- Strong experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Matplotlib, Seaborn).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex statistical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
