Job Description
Career.zycto is seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Store Attendant to join our vibrant team for a daytime shift in Oldbury, Birmingham. Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with product inquiries and selections.
- Process sales transactions accurately using our POS system, handling cash and card payments efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and visually appealing store environment, including shelving, display areas, and changing rooms.
- Restock shelves and displays regularly, ensuring products are correctly priced and rotated.
- Monitor inventory levels and report discrepancies or low stock items to management.
- Assist with receiving and unpacking deliveries, ensuring goods are stored properly.
- Address customer complaints and feedback professionally, escalating issues when necessary.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily sales targets and operational goals.
- Perform opening and closing duties as required for the daytime shift.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in a customer service or retail environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to operate a point-of-sale (POS) system and handle cash accurately.
- Strong organisational skills with an eye for detail and merchandising.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- A proactive and enthusiastic approach to daily tasks.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift, and carry merchandise as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- GCSEs or equivalent qualifications.
