Key Responsibilities

  • Greet customers warmly and assist them with product inquiries, offering expert advice and recommendations.
  • Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using Point of Sale (POS) systems and handle various payment methods.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store environment, ensuring product displays are stocked and neat.
  • Assist with inventory management, including receiving, unpacking, pricing, and merchandising new stock.
  • Handle customer feedback, inquiries, and resolve minor issues professionally, escalating complex cases when necessary.
  • Actively promote current sales, special promotions, and loyalty programs to enhance customer engagement.
  • Ensure strict adherence to all company policies, security procedures, and health and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve daily sales targets and operational goals.
  • Perform opening and closing duties for the store, including cash reconciliation, security checks, and facility preparation.

Required Skills

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in operating Point of Sale (POS) systems and handling cash/card transactions.
  • Strong organizational skills and an eye for merchandising and store aesthetics.
  • Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Basic mathematical skills for accurate transaction processing and inventory counting.
  • Fluent in English (both verbal and written communication).
  • A proactive and positive attitude, with a strong work ethic.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience (6-12 months) in a retail, hospitality, or customer service role.
  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • Knowledge of an additional language such as Arabic, Hindi, Tagalog, or Mandarin is a significant advantage.
  • Ability to lift and move merchandise up to 20 kg comfortably.
