Key Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome customers warmly as they enter the storefront, offering assistance and guidance.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using POS systems, handling cash, credit, and debit payments.
- Address customer inquiries, provide information about products/services, and resolve minor issues or direct them to appropriate staff.
- Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and visual appeal of the sales floor, displays, and common areas.
- Stock shelves, rotate inventory, and assist with receiving and organizing new shipments.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures, including cash reconciliation and security checks.
- Proactively identify and report any maintenance needs or safety hazards within the storefront.
- Contribute to a positive team environment by communicating effectively and collaborating with colleagues.
- Educate customers on current promotions, loyalty programs, and upcoming events.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures related to customer service and operations.
Required Skills
- Proven customer service experience in a retail or public-facing role.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with Point of Sale (POS) systems and cash handling.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Basic computer literacy.
