Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, store, and issue goods, ensuring accuracy against delivery notes and purchase orders.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, including stock levels, movements, and discrepancies, using manual and computerized systems.
- Organize and arrange stock in the storeroom according to established procedures, ensuring proper labeling and easy accessibility.
- Conduct regular stock counts and participate in periodic physical inventory audits.
- Identify and report slow-moving, obsolete, or damaged stock for appropriate action.
- Ensure the storeroom is kept clean, tidy, and organized at all times, adhering to safety and hygiene standards.
- Prepare and pack items for dispatch, ensuring they are correctly accounted for and securely packaged.
- Operate basic material handling equipment safely, such as trolleys or pallet jacks, if required.
- Collaborate with purchasing, sales, and logistics teams to ensure timely availability of stock and smooth operations.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Storekeeper or in a similar inventory management role.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
