Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth market research and spend analysis to identify potential sourcing opportunities and savings.
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing initiatives, including RFI/RFP processes, vendor selection, and contract negotiations.
- Monitor supplier performance, manage relationships, and ensure compliance with contractual agreements and quality standards.
- Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., R&D, Operations, Finance) to understand requirements and align sourcing strategies with business needs.
- Analyze supply chain risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure business continuity.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations on sourcing projects, cost savings, and market insights for management.
- Drive continuous improvement in procurement processes, tools, and best practices across the organization.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain analysis role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., advanced Excel, SQL) and experience with large datasets.
- Proven negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience with e-procurement platforms and ERP systems (e.g., SAP Ariba, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
- Solid understanding of procurement principles, supply chain management, and contract law.
