As our Studio Editing Coordinator, you will play a critical role in managing schedules, coordinating resources, and overseeing the smooth progression of multiple editing projects simultaneously, from short-form digital content to longer-form corporate videos and internal communications. Your day-to-day will involve everything from liaising with editors, producers, motion graphic designers, and clients, to ensuring all necessary footage, graphics, audio assets, and project files are readily available, properly organized, and adhere to our established naming conventions and storage protocols. This position requires a proactive individual who can anticipate challenges, implement effective solutions, and maintain a high standard of quality and efficiency across all deliverables. You will be instrumental in optimizing our post-production pipeline, identifying areas for improvement in our asset management systems and workflow processes, and implementing best practices to enhance overall team productivity and reduce turnaround times.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and track the progress of multiple video editing projects from ingest to final delivery.
  • Coordinate schedules, deadlines, and resources for editors, motion graphic designers, and other post-production staff.
  • Ensure all project assets (footage, audio, graphics) are organized, archived, and easily accessible.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, including producers, directors, and clients.
  • Oversee quality control checks to ensure all deliverables meet technical specifications and creative standards.
  • Implement and maintain efficient file naming conventions, folder structures, and asset management systems.
  • Assist in troubleshooting technical issues related to editing software, hardware, or file formats.
  • Facilitate communication between creative teams and technical support to resolve workflow impediments.
  • Maintain detailed project documentation, including timelines, asset lists, and communication logs.
  • Identify opportunities for workflow optimization and contribute to the development of best practices.

Required Skills

  • 3+ years of experience in a coordination or project management role within a creative or media production environment.
  • Proven understanding of video post-production workflows, including editing, motion graphics, and sound design.
  • Proficiency with project management software (e.g., Asana, Trello, Monday.com).
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively.
  • Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting.
  • Detail-oriented with a meticulous approach to asset management and quality control.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) or Google Workspace.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Film, Television Production, Communications, or a related field.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects) in a project management capacity.
  • Familiarity with digital asset management (DAM) systems.
  • Understanding of various video codecs, file formats, and delivery specifications.
  • Experience working with remote or hybrid teams.
