As our Studio Recording Engineer, you will be the sonic architect behind a diverse range of productions, from tracking intricate musical compositions across various genres to capturing crisp voiceovers for advertising, dynamic podcasts, and polished audio for film and television post-production. You’ll be instrumental in shaping the sonic identity of our clients’ work, ensuring every note, word, and effect is recorded and mixed to the highest possible standard.
Your day-to-day will involve hands-on operation of our state-of-the-art recording studio equipment, including high-end microphones, analog and digital mixing consoles, and a suite of industry-standard Digital Audio Workstations (DAWs) such as Pro Tools, Logic Pro X, and Ableton Live. You’ll be responsible for setting up sessions, miking instruments and vocals with precision, monitoring levels, and applying your expertise in signal processing to achieve desired sonic characteristics during recording. Beyond initial capture, your role will extend to the critical phases of mixing and mastering, where your keen ear for detail and understanding of acoustics will ensure a balanced, clear, and impactful final product.

Key Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain professional audio recording equipment, including microphones, mixing consoles, preamps, and DAWs.
- Record, mix, and master audio for various projects, including music, podcasts, voiceovers, and post-production.
- Perform studio setup and tear-down for recording sessions, ensuring optimal signal flow and sound quality.
- Collaborate with artists, producers, and clients to understand their vision and deliver high-quality audio that meets their specific requirements.
- Apply advanced audio editing techniques, noise reduction, and sound enhancement processes.
- Troubleshoot technical issues with studio equipment and software efficiently.
- Conduct quality control checks on all recorded and processed audio files.
- Manage and organize project files and session data effectively.
- Stay updated with industry trends, software advancements, and audio technologies.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in industry-standard DAWs (e.g., Pro Tools, Logic Pro X, Ableton Live).
- Expert knowledge of microphone types, placement techniques, and signal chains.
- Strong understanding of acoustics, psychoacoustics, and critical listening.
- Demonstrable experience in audio recording, mixing, and mastering across various genres.
- Familiarity with analog and digital mixing consoles and outboard gear.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and technical aptitude for troubleshooting audio equipment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for client and team collaboration.

Preferred Qualifications
