Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain studio recording equipment, including microphones, preamps, consoles, and digital audio workstations (DAWs).
  • Engineer recording sessions for various clients, ensuring optimal sound capture and adherence to artistic vision.
  • Mix and master audio tracks to industry standards, delivering high-quality, polished final products.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues with studio equipment and software efficiently.
  • Collaborate with artists, producers, and project managers to understand and execute project requirements.
  • Manage and organize project files, session data, and backups.
  • Provide creative input and technical guidance during production to enhance audio quality.
  • Stay updated with the latest audio technologies, techniques, and industry trends.
  • Assist with studio setup, breakdown, and general maintenance to ensure a clean and functional workspace.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency with industry-standard DAWs (e.g., Pro Tools, Logic Pro X, Ableton Live).
  • Strong understanding of microphone techniques, signal flow, and acoustics.
  • Demonstrable experience in multi-track recording, mixing, and mastering.
  • Excellent ear for detail, critical listening skills, and sound aesthetics.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced creative environment.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities for technical audio issues.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
