Key Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding customer service, assisting shoppers with enquiries, locating products, and processing transactions efficiently at the till.
- Ensure shelves are fully stocked, neatly presented, and merchandise is rotated to maintain freshness and minimise waste.
- Assist with the unloading and accurate storage of deliveries, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the store, including aisles, checkout areas, and backroom facilities.
- Operate cash registers, handle cash and card payments accurately, and balance till at the end of shifts.
- Support colleagues in various departments as needed, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Process product returns and exchanges in line with company policies.
- Be proactive in identifying and addressing potential issues, ensuring a safe and pleasant shopping experience for all.
