Job Description

Key Responsibilities
- Receive and unload daily deliveries from suppliers, ensuring accuracy against invoices.
- Efficiently unpack merchandise and transport it to the sales floor.
- Stock shelves, display units, and cold storage areas according to store planograms and rotation guidelines.
- Ensure all products are correctly priced and clearly visible to customers.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in the stockroom and on the sales floor.
- Monitor product expiry dates and rotate stock (FIFO – First In, First Out) to minimize spoilage.
- Assist with inventory counts and report any discrepancies or damaged goods.
- Support fellow team members and other departments as needed to ensure smooth store operations.
- Adhere strictly to all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
- Provide basic assistance to customers regarding product location when on the sales floor.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy boxes (up to 20kg) frequently.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Basic communication skills in English or Swahili.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
