Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Supply Chain Analyst to join our growing team in VGC, Lekki. This is an incredible opportunity for a detail-oriented professional to play a pivotal role in optimizing our end-to-end supply chain operations. Key Responsibilities
- Collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets related to inventory levels, production schedules, demand forecasts, and logistics operations to identify trends and anomalies.
- Develop and implement robust demand forecasting models and inventory management strategies to optimize stock levels and minimize carrying costs.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery, inventory turns, forecast accuracy, and logistics costs, preparing regular reports for management.
- Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies within the supply chain and propose data-backed solutions for process improvement and cost reduction.
- Collaborate with procurement, operations, and sales teams to ensure alignment between supply chain capabilities and business objectives.
- Assist in the evaluation of supplier performance, quality, and reliability, providing analytical support for vendor selection and management.
- Utilize supply chain planning software and tools to enhance visibility and control across the supply chain.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations on supply chain performance, risks, and opportunities for various stakeholders.
- Participate in cross-functional projects aimed at improving overall operational efficiency and strategic initiatives.
Required Skills
- 2+ years of experience in a Supply Chain Analyst or similar analytical role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven recommendations.
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Odoo).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of presenting complex information clearly.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Analytics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in a relevant field.
- Certifications such as APICS CSCP, CPIM, or SCOR-P.
- Experience with SQL for data querying and analysis.
- Previous experience in the FMCG, manufacturing, or e-commerce industries.
