Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Supply Chain Analyst to join our growing team in VGC, Lekki. This is an incredible opportunity for a detail-oriented professional to play a pivotal role in optimizing our end-to-end supply chain operations. As a Supply Chain Analyst at Career.zycto, you will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth, efficient, and cost-effective flow of goods from procurement to delivery. You will leverage data-driven insights to identify areas for improvement, streamline processes, and enhance overall supply chain performance.

Your primary focus will involve collecting, analyzing, and interpreting complex supply chain data, developing robust forecasting models, and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs). You will work closely with various departments including procurement, operations, logistics, and sales, providing critical insights that inform strategic decision-making. This role demands a proactive individual with strong problem-solving skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to communicate findings effectively to stakeholders at all levels. Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets related to inventory levels, production schedules, demand forecasts, and logistics operations to identify trends and anomalies.
  • Develop and implement robust demand forecasting models and inventory management strategies to optimize stock levels and minimize carrying costs.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery, inventory turns, forecast accuracy, and logistics costs, preparing regular reports for management.
  • Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies within the supply chain and propose data-backed solutions for process improvement and cost reduction.
  • Collaborate with procurement, operations, and sales teams to ensure alignment between supply chain capabilities and business objectives.
  • Assist in the evaluation of supplier performance, quality, and reliability, providing analytical support for vendor selection and management.
  • Utilize supply chain planning software and tools to enhance visibility and control across the supply chain.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations on supply chain performance, risks, and opportunities for various stakeholders.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects aimed at improving overall operational efficiency and strategic initiatives.

Required Skills

  • 2+ years of experience in a Supply Chain Analyst or similar analytical role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven recommendations.
  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Odoo).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of presenting complex information clearly.
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Analytics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in a relevant field.
  • Certifications such as APICS CSCP, CPIM, or SCOR-P.
  • Experience with SQL for data querying and analysis.
  • Previous experience in the FMCG, manufacturing, or e-commerce industries.
  • Project management experience.
