Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive analysis of supply chain data, including demand forecasting, inventory levels, logistics, and vendor performance.
- Identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction across the supply chain.
- Develop and implement strategic recommendations to optimize inventory management, warehousing, transportation, and procurement processes.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and report on supply chain efficiency, effectiveness, and adherence to targets.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with procurement, operations, sales, and finance teams to ensure alignment and seamless execution of supply chain initiatives.
- Utilize advanced analytical tools and supply chain software to model scenarios and assess the impact of proposed changes.
- Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and dashboards to communicate findings and recommendations to management and clients.
- Stay abreast of industry best practices, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes impacting supply chain operations.
Required Skills
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with proficiency in statistical analysis.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, complex formulas).
- Experience with Supply Chain Management (SCM) software (e.g., SAP, Oracle SCM, NetSuite).
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for presenting complex data and recommendations.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Analytics, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in a supply chain analyst or similar analytical role.
