Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth analysis of supply chain data, including demand forecasts, inventory levels, logistics costs, and supplier performance, to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize supply chain processes, reduce operational costs, and improve efficiency and responsiveness.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) across the supply chain, creating regular reports and dashboards for internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Procurement, Production, Sales, Finance) to align supply chain strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Identify and mitigate potential supply chain risks, such as disruptions, capacity constraints, or quality issues.
  • Utilize supply chain planning software (e.g., ERP systems, WMS) to manage and track inventory, orders, and shipments.
  • Lead or support continuous improvement projects focused on enhancing supply chain visibility, lead time reduction, and delivery reliability.
  • Prepare and present analytical findings, insights, and recommendations to senior management to support strategic decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations, company policies, and best practices in supply chain management.
  • Forecast demand and manage inventory levels to minimize stockouts and overstock, ensuring optimal working capital utilization.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience as a Supply Chain Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
  • Proficiency in supply chain management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and advanced Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables).
  • Excellent understanding of supply chain principles, including forecasting, inventory management, logistics, and procurement.
  • Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights and present them effectively.
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field.
  • Professional certification (e.g., CSCP, CPIM, Lean Six Sigma).
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Proficiency in German (written and spoken) is a significant advantage.
  • Experience in an international manufacturing or retail environment.
  • Knowledge of advanced statistical analysis techniques.
