Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the coordination of inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring accurate documentation and timely processing.
- Support inventory management activities, including stock checks, data entry, and reconciliation to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Help monitor and track orders from placement through delivery, providing updates and resolving minor discrepancies.
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., warehousing, sales) and external partners (e.g., suppliers, carriers) to ensure smooth operations.
- Maintain and update databases and records related to supply chain activities, ensuring data integrity and accessibility.
- Prepare basic reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) such such as delivery times, inventory turnover, and supplier performance.
- Contribute to the identification of process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs within the supply chain.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in business, logistics, or a related field is a strong asset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) with a solid understanding of data entry and spreadsheet functions.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
