Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth analysis of supply chain data, including inventory levels, transportation costs, lead times, and vendor performance, to identify areas for optimization.
  • Develop and implement quantitative models, simulations, and algorithms to optimize various aspects of the supply chain (e.g., network design, routing, inventory placement).
  • Identify and articulate key performance indicators (KPIs) for supply chain functions and develop dashboards and reports to monitor performance and track progress.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., operations, procurement, finance) and external partners to understand business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.
  • Present findings, recommendations, and potential impacts of proposed solutions to stakeholders, including senior management, through clear and concise reports and presentations.
  • Support the implementation of new supply chain technologies and processes, ensuring seamless integration and adoption.
  • Stay abreast of industry best practices, emerging technologies, and analytical trends in supply chain management.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, driving innovation and efficiency across the organization.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience as a Supply Chain Analyst or similar role, with a strong focus on optimization.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python, R) and visualization software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Solid understanding of supply chain principles, logistics, inventory management, and forecasting techniques.
  • Demonstrated ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a creative approach to complex challenges.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying technical information to non-technical audiences.
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Analytics, Industrial Engineering, or a related quantitative field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field.
  • Experience with supply chain planning software (e.g., SAP APO, Oracle SCM, Kinaxis, Blue Yonder).
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
  • Certifications in supply chain management (e.g., CSCP, CPIM).
