Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the accurate receiving, checking, and storage of incoming goods and materials.
- Support the picking, packing, and dispatch processes to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Perform regular inventory counts and assist with stock reconciliation to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Operate basic material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks) safely and efficiently, after training.
- Assist with data entry and documentation related to inventory movements and supply chain activities.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Identify and report any discrepancies, damages, or operational issues to relevant personnel.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Required Skills
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills for inventory and documentation tasks.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and efficiently.
- Good physical stamina and capability to lift and move moderately heavy items (up to 15-20kg).
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Reliable, punctual, and possess a strong work ethic.
- A positive attitude and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Basic computer literacy for data entry and simple record-keeping.
