Key Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed land surveys using total stations, GPS/GNSS, and other relevant equipment.
- Perform boundary surveys, topographical surveys, and site engineering surveys.
- Prepare and interpret survey data, maps, plans, and technical reports.
- Undertake comprehensive property valuations for residential, commercial, and industrial assets.
- Analyse market trends, economic conditions, and property characteristics to determine accurate valuations.
- Utilise GIS software to manage and analyse spatial data.
- Liaise with clients, architects, developers, legal professionals, and local authorities.
- Ensure all surveying and valuation activities comply with industry standards and regulations (e.g., RICS guidelines).
- Provide expert advice on land use, planning, development potential, and property investment.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for all projects.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in land surveying techniques and equipment (Total Stations, GPS/GNSS).
- Strong knowledge of property valuation methodologies and principles.
- Expertise in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, MicroStation) and GIS software (e.g., ArcGIS).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
- Solid understanding of relevant planning laws, regulations, and industry standards (e.g., RICS Red Book).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid UK Driving Licence.
Preferred Qualifications
- RICS Chartered Surveyor status (MRICS/FRICS).
