Caribbean Estate Guest House is excited to announce an exceptional opportunity for a motivated individual to join our team as a Swimming Instructor at our vibrant leisure club in Gregory Park, Portmore. As a Swimming Instructor, you will be instrumental in teaching essential water safety and swimming techniques to individuals of all ages and abilities, from nervous beginners taking their first splash to advanced swimmers refining their strokes. You will design and deliver engaging lessons, assess student progress, and create a safe, encouraging, and fun learning environment. Key Responsibilities
- Receive comprehensive training to obtain necessary swimming instructor certifications and first aid/CPR qualifications.
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality, engaging swimming lessons for individuals and groups across various age and skill levels.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants in and around the pool area at all times.
- Provide constructive feedback and assess student progress, adapting teaching methods as necessary to meet individual needs.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, achievements, and any incidents.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and club management regarding lesson plans and student development.
- Assist with the maintenance and cleaning of swimming equipment and the pool area to ensure a hygienic and safe environment.
- Promote the leisure club's swimming programs and encourage participation.
- Adhere strictly to all Caribbean Estate Guest House policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
