Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Tailor with a strong flair for fashion design to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities
- Interpret design briefs and create original patterns from sketches, samples, or client specifications.
- Accurately cut fabrics according to patterns and design specifications, minimizing waste.
- Perform all aspects of garment construction, including precise sewing, stitching, hemming, and finishing techniques.
- Conduct client fittings, make necessary alterations, and provide adjustments to ensure a perfect fit.
- Operate and maintain various industrial and domestic sewing machines and other tailoring equipment.
- Manage fabric inventory and material consumption efficiently.
- Collaborate effectively with clients during consultations to understand requirements, offer expert advice on styles, fabrics, and design elements.
- Ensure the highest quality standards are consistently met for every garment produced.
- Contribute creatively to the development of new designs and collections for small-batch production.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace at all times.
