Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior tailors and seamstresses with various tasks, including fabric preparation and garment assembly.
- Learn and practice basic hand and machine sewing techniques under direct supervision.
- Handle, cut, and prepare fabric according to patterns and specifications with precision.
- Assist in the pressing, finishing, and packaging of garments.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace within the workshop.
- Learn to identify different fabric types, their properties, and appropriate care.
- Support inventory management of fabrics, notions, and supplies.
- Observe and learn proper measurement-taking techniques and pattern adjustments.
- Contribute to quality control checks, ensuring garments meet company standards.
- Proactively seek feedback and continuously strive for improvement in all tasks.
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of sewing principles (even from hobbyist experience).
