Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver takeaway orders from various restaurants to customers' specified locations within Lisburn and Belfast.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while operating a motorcycle, bicycle, or car.
- Ensure timely delivery of orders, maintaining communication with the dispatch team and customers as needed.
- Handle food orders with care to prevent damage and ensure they arrive in excellent condition.
- Provide friendly and professional customer service during every interaction.
- Process payments accurately (if applicable) and manage delivery documentation.
- Maintain a clean and presentable delivery vehicle/equipment.
- Communicate any issues or delays proactively to the dispatch team.
Required Skills
- Valid UK driving license (for car or motorcycle riders) or proficiency in cycling (for bicycle riders).
- Access to a reliable vehicle (car, motorcycle, or bicycle) with appropriate insurance and road tax.
- Excellent knowledge of Lisburn and Belfast street layouts and surrounding areas.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- A positive attitude and customer-focused approach.
- Ability to use a smartphone for navigation and order management.
