Job Description

Mimosa Mining Company is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our dynamic Human Resources team in Zvishavane. As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in identifying, attracting, and securing top talent to support our continuous growth and operational demands. You will be responsible for managing the full recruitment lifecycle, from initial requisition to onboarding, ensuring an exceptional candidate experience and a seamless process for hiring managers. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job posting, candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, and offer management for various technical and professional roles.
  • Collaborate closely with hiring managers to understand departmental needs, define job requirements, and develop effective recruitment strategies.
  • Utilize a variety of sourcing techniques, including online job boards, social media, professional networks, and employee referrals, to identify qualified candidates.
  • Conduct thorough interviews, assessments, and background checks to evaluate candidate qualifications, experience, and cultural fit.
  • Maintain and update the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) with accurate and timely candidate information and recruitment progress.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with candidates, ensuring a positive and engaging experience throughout the hiring process.
  • Actively participate in employer branding initiatives and represent Mimosa Mining Company at career fairs and industry events.
  • Provide regular reports on recruitment metrics, including time-to-hire, source of hire, and candidate pipeline status.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices in talent acquisition, and relevant labor laws and regulations.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of recruitment processes and policies.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in full-cycle recruitment, preferably within the mining, heavy industry, or manufacturing sectors.
  • Strong understanding of various sourcing techniques and recruitment tools (e.g., ATS, LinkedIn Recruiter).
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to conduct effective interviews and assess candidate qualifications.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Solid understanding of Zimbabwean labor laws and employment best practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Psychology, or a related field.
  • Professional certification in Human Resources (e.g., IPMZ, SHRM, HRCI).
  • Experience with SAP HR modules or similar large-scale HRIS.
  • Prior experience working with a diverse workforce in a remote or industrial setting.
