Key Responsibilities
- Proactively research, identify, and evaluate emerging musical talent across diverse genres and platforms.
- Attend live performances, showcases, and industry events to scout potential artists and build industry connections.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with artists, managers, producers, and other industry professionals.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of artist potential, including musicality, stage presence, audience engagement, and marketability.
- Prepare comprehensive scouting reports and presentations for internal review by the A&R and artist development teams.
- Stay continuously informed about current music trends, industry shifts, and competitive landscape.
- Collaborate with marketing and social media teams to identify potential promotional opportunities for discovered artists.
- Represent Career.zycto professionally at all times, upholding our values and artistic vision.
- Assist in the initial negotiation and onboarding process for new artist signings.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in talent scouting, A&R, or artist relations within the music industry.
- Deep knowledge and understanding of various music genres, current trends, and emerging artists.
- Exceptional networking and relationship-building skills.
- Strong analytical abilities to assess artistic potential and market viability.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
