Key Responsibilities
- Proactively identify and scout emerging musical artists, bands, and creative talents through various channels (online platforms, live shows, industry events, social media).
- Conduct thorough due diligence on potential talents, assessing their artistic potential, market viability, social media presence, and fan engagement.
- Build and maintain a robust network of industry contacts, including producers, promoters, managers, and A&R professionals, both locally and internationally.
- Attend concerts, showcases, festivals, and industry events to discover new talent and stay abreast of musical trends.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations on potential artists, outlining their profile, unique selling points, and market fit for internal review.
- Collaborate closely with the A&R, marketing, and legal teams to facilitate the artist signing and development process.
- Negotiate preliminary terms and foster strong, transparent relationships with artists and their representatives.
- Stay informed about evolving music genres, digital consumption trends, and competitive landscapes to maintain a strategic edge.
- Develop and implement innovative scouting strategies to reach diverse talent pools and identify untapped potential.
Required Skills
- Proven experience (3+ years) in talent scouting, A&R, or artist management within the music or entertainment industry.
- Exceptional ear for identifying raw, original, and commercially viable musical talent across diverse genres.
- Deep understanding of current music trends, genres, and the digital music ecosystem (streaming, social media, independent platforms).
- Strong networking and relationship-building abilities, with a track record of cultivating industry connections.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, capable of articulating vision and potential.
- Proficiency in social media and digital analytics platforms for talent discovery, trend analysis, and audience insights.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple leads simultaneously, and as part of a collaborative, results-driven team.
- High level of self-motivation, proactivity, persistence, and a genuine passion for music and artist development.
- Fluent in English; Arabic proficiency is a significant advantage due to the regional focus.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Music Business, Arts Management, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
- Established network within the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) music scene.
- Experience with advanced data analytics tools for audience insights and trend spotting.

- Demonstrated success in discovering and signing artists who achieved commercial or critical acclaim.
