Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert advice on VAT, Income Tax, and Corporate Tax matters to a diverse client base.
- Conduct thorough tax compliance reviews and identify areas for tax planning and efficiency.
- Prepare and review complex tax computations, returns, and related documentation.
- Liaise with clients to gather necessary information, clarify queries, and present findings.
- Keep abreast of changes in tax legislation and policy, assessing their impact on clients.
- Assist clients with tax audits, enquiries, and disputes from HMRC.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a primary point of contact for tax-related issues.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure integrated financial and tax advice.
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to team knowledge sharing sessions.
Required Skills
- ACA, ACCA, CTA, or equivalent professional qualification.
- Minimum of 4 years post-qualification experience in a tax advisory role.
- Extensive knowledge of UK VAT, Income Tax, and Corporate Tax legislation.
- Proven ability to interpret complex tax laws and provide clear, actionable advice.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
