Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport passengers to their destinations using the Bolt platform.
- Maintain a clean, comfortable, and well-maintained vehicle at all times.
- Provide excellent customer service, ensuring a pleasant and respectful experience for all riders.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, road safety regulations, and Bolt's community guidelines.
- Utilize the Bolt driver app for accepting rides, navigation, tracking earnings, and managing your schedule.
- Communicate professionally with passengers regarding routes, estimated arrival times, and any potential delays.
- Handle passenger luggage and belongings with care, assisting as needed.
- Maintain high ratings and positive feedback from passengers by consistently delivering quality service.
Required Skills
- Valid Kenyan driving license (class B or higher) held for at least 2 years
- Excellent knowledge of Nairobi's roads, routes, and traffic patterns
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to punctuality and reliability
- Ability to use a smartphone and navigate applications proficiently
- Customer-centric mindset with a friendly and professional demeanor
- A clean driving record with no major violations
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in professional driving or customer service roles
- Ownership of a well-maintained vehicle manufactured from 2008 onwards (or as per Bolt's latest vehicle requirements)
- Familiarity with first aid and emergency procedures
