Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport passengers to their destinations following scheduled routes or specific client requests.
- Operate private vehicles and shuttle vans with professionalism and adherence to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Assist passengers with loading and unloading luggage and personal items as needed.
- Maintain the cleanliness, tidiness, and operational readiness of the vehicle, conducting daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Monitor vehicle maintenance schedules and report any mechanical issues or necessary repairs promptly.
- Manage time effectively to ensure punctuality for all pick-ups and drop-offs.
- Provide excellent customer service, including greeting passengers warmly and responding to inquiries politely.
- Navigate routes efficiently using GPS and local knowledge to avoid delays and optimize travel times.
- Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding passenger safety, conduct, and data privacy.
Required Skills
- Valid Mauritian driving license (car and passenger transport endorsements where applicable).
- Proven experience as a professional driver, preferably in private hire or shuttle services.
- Excellent knowledge of Mauritius' road network, including Ebene Junction and surrounding areas.
- Strong command of English; proficiency in French and/or Creole is highly advantageous.
- Exceptional driving record with no major accidents or traffic violations.
