Key Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with the UK national curriculum.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages student participation.
  • Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, providing constructive feedback to aid development.
  • Implement effective classroom management strategies to ensure a productive learning atmosphere.
  • Communicate regularly and effectively with parents/guardians regarding student performance and well-being.
  • Participate actively in school meetings, professional development, and extra-curricular activities.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the wider school community.

Required Skills

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognized teaching qualification.
  • Demonstrable experience teaching within a UK educational setting (or similar curriculum).
  • Excellent command of the English language, both spoken and written.
  • Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Passion for education and a commitment to student success.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Education or a relevant subject area.
  • Specialism in English Language or Literature teaching.
  • Experience with specific age groups (e.g., Early Years, Primary, Secondary).
  • Evidence of continuous professional development.
  • Knowledge of modern pedagogical approaches and educational technology.
  • First Aid certification.
