Key Responsibilities
- Assist the lead teacher in planning and implementing daily classroom activities and lessons.
- Provide individualized or small group instruction and support to students, particularly those requiring extra assistance.
- Help manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive, disciplined learning environment.
- Prepare educational materials, organize resources, and set up/take down classroom displays.
- Supervise students during non-instructional periods, including break times, lunch, and field trips.
- Support students with special educational needs (SEN) or English as an Additional Language (EAL) under teacher guidance.
- Assist with basic administrative tasks, such as photocopying, filing, and record-keeping.
- Communicate effectively with teachers regarding student progress, challenges, and achievements.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all students at all times.
- Participate in school meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities as required.
