Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and understand customer technical requirements through detailed discovery and consultation.
  • Present and demonstrate complex technical solutions and product capabilities effectively to prospective and existing clients.
  • Develop and deliver compelling technical proposals, presentations, and bespoke product demonstrations.
  • Collaborate closely with sales teams to develop strategic account plans and identify new business opportunities.
  • Act as a primary technical liaison between clients and internal engineering/product development teams, ensuring clear communication.
  • Provide expert technical support throughout the entire sales cycle, including responding to RFIs/RFPs.
  • Stay relentlessly up-to-date with industry trends, the competitive landscape, and product developments in the relevant sector.
  • Participate actively in industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote our solutions and build network.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting, and trust-based customer relationships.
  • Negotiate technical aspects of contracts and effectively contribute to closing sales.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience (minimum 4 years) as a Technical Sales Engineer or similar client-facing technical role in a B2B environment.
  • Strong technical background in relevant industry domains such as software, hardware, networking, or industrial automation.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise, and compelling business value propositions.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities, with a solution-oriented mindset.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) for managing sales pipelines and client interactions.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed sales targets in a competitive market.
  • Valid UK driving license and willingness to travel domestically and potentially internationally as required for client meetings.
