Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first-level technical support via phone, email, and in-person to customers and internal staff.
  • Diagnose and resolve basic hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.
  • Document all support interactions, resolutions, and escalations accurately in the ticketing system.
  • Escalate unresolved issues to higher-level technical staff when necessary, ensuring clear communication.
  • Assist with the setup and configuration of new equipment and software for users.
  • Provide guidance and basic training to users on system functionalities and best practices.
  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through professional and empathetic communication.
  • Collaborate with team members to share knowledge and improve support processes.
  • Stay updated on product changes, new technologies, and common technical issues.

Required Skills

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in Portuguese and English.
  • Basic understanding of computer hardware, software, and operating systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Customer-centric approach with a patient and helpful demeanor.
  • Ability to learn new technologies and systems quickly.
  • Proficiency in using common office applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).

Preferred Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; a Diploma or Certificate in IT, Computer Science, or a related field is a plus.
  • Familiarity with telecommunications products and services.
  • Previous experience in a customer service or support role (even non-technical).
  • Basic knowledge of network fundamentals (TCP/IP, Wi-Fi).
  • Any relevant IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+).
