Key Responsibilities
- Develop, write, and maintain high-quality technical documentation for Career.zycto's software products, including user guides, online help, API documentation, release notes, and FAQs.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, software engineers, and QA specialists to gather and understand technical information and product requirements.
- Translate complex technical concepts and functionalities into clear, concise, and easy-to-understand language for various audiences.
- Ensure consistency, accuracy, and adherence to established style guides and brand voice across all documentation.
- Review and edit content for clarity, grammar, punctuation, and technical accuracy.
- Manage documentation through its entire lifecycle, from planning and creation to review, publication, and deprecation.
- Proactively identify documentation needs and opportunities for improvement.
- Participate in agile sprint planning and ensure documentation aligns with product development cycles.
- Gather feedback from users and internal teams to continuously improve documentation quality and usability.
Required Skills
- Proven experience (3+ years) as a Technical Writer, specifically in software documentation.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a strong command of English grammar and style.
- Proficiency with documentation tools (e.g., Confluence, MadCap Flare, Oxygen XML, RoboHelp).
- Ability to quickly comprehend complex technical concepts and translate them into simple, user-friendly language.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality, error-free content.
- Experience working within an Agile/Scrum development environment.
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and version control tools.
