Key Responsibilities
- Design, plan, and implement telecommunication network solutions, including hardware and software components.
- Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimization strategies to ensure high availability and reliability.
- Perform routine maintenance, upgrades, and configurations on network equipment and systems.
- Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to network infrastructure, including routing, switching, and wireless technologies.
- Collaborate with project managers, IT professionals, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
- Stay updated with emerging telecommunications technologies and industry best practices.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3+ years of professional experience in telecommunications network engineering.
- Proficiency in network protocols (TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, MPLS) and technologies (LAN/WAN, VPN, VoIP).
- Experience with network equipment from vendors like Cisco, Juniper, or Huawei.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
- Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, JNCIS, or equivalent.
