Career.zycto is on the lookout for a passionate and skilled Textile Designer to become an integral part of our creative team in Nuremberg. Key Responsibilities
- Research current trends in textile design, color, and materials to inform new collections.
- Develop original patterns, prints, and woven designs for various textile products.
- Create detailed technical specifications and artwork for production, ensuring design integrity.
- Prepare comprehensive design presentations, including mood boards, sketches, and digital mock-ups.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product development, marketing, and manufacturing teams.
- Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, adhering to deadlines and budget constraints.
- Source and evaluate new materials and suppliers with a focus on sustainability and innovation.
- Provide technical guidance and support during the sampling and production phases.
- Maintain an organized library of textile samples, color standards, and design archives.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of design processes and workflows.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) for textile design.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating original textile designs and technical skills.
- Excellent understanding of textile materials, fibers, weaves, and printing techniques.
- Solid grasp of color theory and its application in textile design.
- Ability to translate trends into commercially viable and aesthetically pleasing designs.
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in artwork preparation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for team collaboration.

Preferred Qualifications
