Key Responsibilities
- Assist qualified Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists in the delivery of therapy sessions.
- Prepare therapy equipment and treatment areas before and after sessions, ensuring cleanliness and safety.
- Support patients during therapeutic exercises and activities, providing encouragement and close supervision.
- Document patient observations, progress, and participation as directed by therapists.
- Help maintain therapy equipment, reporting any faults or maintenance needs promptly.
- Assist with patient mobility, transfers, and personal care as required, always maintaining dignity and respect.
- Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and other members of the healthcare team.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to patient care planning discussions.
- Ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all patients and staff.
- Adhere to all relevant health and safety policies and procedures.
Required Skills

Preferred Qualifications

- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths at grade C/4 or above.
- Knowledge of basic first aid.
- A relevant Level 2 or 3 qualification in Health and Social Care.
