Key Responsibilities
- Process ticket sales accurately and efficiently using designated ticketing systems and equipment.
- Provide clear, concise, and accurate information regarding routes, schedules, fares, and public transport policies to passengers.
- Handle cash and card transactions, ensuring strict adherence to company financial procedures and maintaining accurate daily records.
- Address passenger inquiries, resolve minor complaints, and provide assistance in a professional and helpful manner.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming ticketing counter environment.
- Assist passengers with special needs, including directions and accessibility information.
- Report technical issues with ticketing machines or payment systems promptly to supervisors.
- Stay updated on changes to routes, fares, and special promotions to provide current information to passengers.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless service delivery during peak hours.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in a customer service or cash handling role.
- Excellent verbal communication skills in English; Arabic proficiency is a strong advantage.
- Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail for accurate transaction processing.
- Proficiency in basic computer operations and experience with POS (Point of Sale) systems.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage queues efficiently.
- High level of integrity and trustworthiness in handling financial transactions.
