Key Responsibilities
- Accurately measure and cut tiles according to specifications provided by lead tilers or project plans, utilizing various cutting tools (manual and electric).
- Assist in the preparation of surfaces for tiling, including cleaning and leveling as required.
- Organize and manage tiling materials, ensuring correct inventory and minimal waste.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area, disposing of debris and ensuring tools are properly stored.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of tile-cutting equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Transport tiles and other materials to and from the work site as needed.
- Follow all company safety protocols and construction site regulations.
- Provide general assistance to senior tilers and other construction team members.
- Learn and adapt to new tiling techniques and material types.
- Contribute to a positive and productive team environment.
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of measurements and angles.
- Ability to operate basic hand and power tools safely.
- Good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials (up to 20kg).
