(ZCGS) is looking for enthusiastic and hardworking individuals to join our team as an Entry Level Tile Installation Helper in Kendwa, Nungwi. This is an incredible opportunity for someone with no prior experience in tiling but a strong desire to learn, grow, and become a vital part of our expert installation crew.
As a Tile Installation Helper, you will work closely with experienced tile setters, assisting them with all aspects of tile installation projects. This hands-on role will immerse you in the foundational techniques of preparing surfaces, mixing materials, cutting tiles, and ensuring a clean and efficient workspace. You’ll gain invaluable practical experience in a fast-paced construction environment, learning directly from seasoned professionals who are passionate about their craft. Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior tile installers with site preparation, including cleaning and clearing work areas.
- Help unload, transport, and organize materials and tools on job sites.
- Measure, cut, and prepare tiles under the guidance of experienced professionals.
- Mix and prepare setting materials (mortar, grout, thin-set) accurately.
- Clean and maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working order.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Support the team in ensuring quality finishes and attention to detail.
- Perform other general labor duties as assigned to support project completion.
- Actively participate in on-the-job training and skill development sessions.
Required Skills
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and efficiently.
- Basic physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials (up to 25 kg).
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to various tasks.

- No prior experience in tile installation is required – we will train you!
Preferred Qualifications
- Completed primary or secondary education.

- Residency in or near Kendwa, Nungwi, Zanzibar.
