Key Responsibilities
- Shadow and assist senior tour guides during daily operations, learning tour routes and narrative delivery.
- Conduct research on New Westminster's history, landmarks, and cultural anecdotes to enhance tour content.
- Assist in the preparation and distribution of tour materials, including maps, brochures, and historical factsheets.
- Help manage tour logistics, including meeting points, group check-ins, and ensuring timely departures.
- Engage with tour participants, answer general questions, and assist in creating a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
- Support guides in managing group dynamics and ensuring the safety and comfort of all guests.
- Collect feedback from guests and relay relevant information to improve future tour experiences.
- Learn and adapt to various tour themes and styles, from historical walking tours to specialized cultural excursions.
- Maintain a professional appearance and uphold the high standards of customer service expected by Career.zycto.
