Key Responsibilities
- Design, plan, and execute engaging and informative tours tailored to various group sizes and interests within Negril and surrounding areas.
- Provide accurate, compelling, and entertaining commentary on local history, culture, ecology, landmarks, and current events.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all tour participants, adhering to all local regulations and safety protocols.
- Manage tour logistics, including transportation coordination, timing, and problem-solving unforeseen issues efficiently.
- Cultivate a friendly, welcoming, and inclusive atmosphere, encouraging interaction and addressing guest inquiries with professionalism.
- Promote local businesses and attractions responsibly, enhancing the guest experience and supporting the community.
- Collect feedback from guests to continuously improve tour quality and participant satisfaction.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Negril's attractions, developments, and local events.
- Handle financial transactions for tour services accurately when required.

Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Tour Guide or in a similar customer-facing role in the travel industry (minimum 1.5 years).
- Exceptional knowledge of Negril, Westmoreland, including its history, culture, geography, and attractions.
- Fluent in English with excellent verbal communication and storytelling abilities.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and build rapport with diverse groups of people.
- Demonstrated ability to manage groups effectively and handle unexpected situations with composure.
- Valid Jamaican Driver's License and a clean driving record (if tours involve driving).
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
