Key Responsibilities
- Conduct engaging and informative tours of local attractions, historical sites, and cultural landmarks within Santa Cruz and St. Elizabeth.
- Share captivating stories, historical facts, and cultural insights with diverse groups of tourists from various backgrounds.
- Ensure the safety, comfort, and enjoyment of all tour participants throughout the duration of the tour.
- Efficiently manage tour logistics, including adherence to schedules, coordinating transportation, and establishing clear meeting points.
- Adapt tour content and pace to suit the specific interests, physical abilities, and needs of different tour groups.
- Provide exceptional customer service, promptly addressing inquiries, resolving minor issues, and responding to feedback professionally.
- Promote local businesses, authentic crafts, and regional cuisine where appropriate, contributing to the local economy and enhancing the visitor experience.
- Stay updated on current local events, historical developments, and new attractions to enrich and diversify tour offerings.
Required Skills
- In-depth knowledge of Santa Cruz, St. Elizabeth, and broader Jamaican history, culture, geography, and natural attractions.
